Christian freedom is the liberation believers experience through faith in Jesus Christ. The teachings of the New Testament, specifically Paul and Peter's writings, are often associated with it. Through faith in Christ, believers are free from sin's power and consequences. Freedom not only releases from sin's guilt - but also its dominion. The Apostle Paul, in his letters, often speaks about freedom in Christ. For example, in the letter to the Galatians, Paul emphasizes believers are no longer under the Law but have their justification by faith in Christ.

Christian freedom does not mean sin without consequences. It is the freedom to live by Christ's teachings, guided by love and obedience to The Father. Legitimate freedom in Christianity is living by God's will and purpose. Different denominations interpret Christian freedom differently. Still, they believe their faith in Jesus Christ brings transformative freedom to a person's spiritual and moral aspects of life.

he Power of One book has a twofold purpose. (1) To show the influence of a single Saint, who trusts the Word of God, could change the world. The Bible is straightforward: For nothing is impossible with "the Author of all things," Luke 1:37, (NIV84). (2) To point out how Christian bodies working in concert as one Body of Jesus Christ can be progressive for millions. As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another—Proverbs 27:17 (NIV84).
